Signature
Verdaguer’s name written on the Folgueroles stream is a work by the poet and artist Perejaume. The intervention consisted in altering the stream with the outline of the poet’s signature in 2002, when the centennial of the death of Jacint Verdaguer was being commemorated. This work of land art sought to show the immensity of the poet’s oeuvre and humans’ inability to capture it in its entirety.
D’entre aquells llocs posats sota l’advocació d’un autor, Folgueroles és, sense cap mena de dubte, un dels més incontrovertibles. Tot el terme constitueix la paleta de llocs Verdaguer amb el gorg profund i negre de Nitons, que és el forat que hi ha per passar-hi el dit i tenir el terme agafat per la mà.
