Family home
When the poet was two years old, the Verdaguer Santaló family moved to Calle Major on Plaza Mayor, or the main square, which is currently named Plaça Verdaguer. This was always his family home because after his parents died, his elder brother Miquel remained the heir. In a building on this square, which no longer stands, was school where Mossen Cinto studied.
